In short, the technical committee is concerned with the tennis affairs of our club.

In ons huishoudelijk reglement is opgenomen waar de werkzaamheden van de TC uit bestaan. Dit is onder andere:
- het bezorgen en verzorgen van het materiaal op en van de banen;
- het regelen en verzorgen van de competitie, toernooien en wedstrijden;
- het toelaten van introducé(e)s.
- het beoordelen van speelsterkte van nieuwe leden.
Voor veel van bovenstaande zaken zijn er bij Smashing Pink subcommissies, zoals de competitiecommissie, tosscommissie, clubkampioenschappencommissie etc, die een groot deel van de organisatie en uitvoering van deze activiteiten doen. Dat betekent voor de technische commissie dat deze zich vooral richt op de hoofdlijnen en op tenniszaken die niet structureel geregeld zijn. Dit alles in een adviserende rol naar het bestuur.

Our internal regulations state what the TC's activities consist of. This includes:
- delivering and taking care of the material on and off the courts;
- arranging the competition, tournaments and matches;
- admitting introductory guests.
- assessing the playing strength of new members.
For many of the above matters, Smashing Pink has subcommittees, such as the competition committee, toss committee, club championship committee, etc., which do a large part of the organization and implementation of these activities. For the technical committee, this means that it mainly focuses on the main points and on tennis matters that are not structurally regulated. All this in an advisory role to the board.
