Fantastisch Queer Dubbel Toernooi / Fantastic Queer Double Tournament
Op zondag 23 juli vond het eerste Queer Dubbel Toernooi plaats bij Smashing Pink. Een toernooi open voor iedereen in het kader van de Queer Amsterdam Pride.
On Sunday, July 23, the first Queer Double Tournament took place at Smashing Pink. A tournament open to everyone as part of Queer Amsterdam Pride.
De dag begon regenachtig maar al snel kwam de zon door. Ruim 60 deelnemers streden in poules. De sfeer was super. Er werd fanatiek getennist en er was veel gezelligheid naast de banen. Hulde aan Marion en Petra die het toernooi organiseerden! We hopen dat dit Queer Dubbel Toernooi een traditie wordt.
The day started out rainy but soon the sun came out. More than 60 participants competed in round robins. The atmosphere was great. There was fanatical tennis and there was a lot of fun next to the courts. Homage to Marion and Petra who organized the tournament! We hope this Queer Doubles Tournament will become a tradition.
